PADI Emergency First Response Course

PADI EFR

First and Secondary Aid Course

Be prepared to provide care when it matters most. The PADI Emergency First Response course is an internationally recognized first aid and CPR training program that gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies.

This is not a diving course, but it is an essential life skill. You will learn to manage both life-threatening and non-life-threatening situations through a combination of online study and hands-on, scenario-based training.

Lifesaving skills

The course covers key skills, including:

  • Primary Care (CPR): Learn how to respond to life-threatening emergencies.
  • Secondary Care (First Aid): Learn to handle injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening, including bandaging and splinting.
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use: Gain proficiency in using an AED, a life-saving device.

The PADI EFR course is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver or Divemaster certification, but it is open to everyone—no prior experience is needed.

The course runs on a Wednesday night from 5 pm until 8:30 PM.

Equipment

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) certification card. This internationally recognized certification is valid for 24 months (two years) and confirms your training in primary and secondary care. It is a valuable qualification for divers and non-divers alike.
