Course Details

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience is an introductory course that allows you to see what diving is all about! We cover some basic theory here at Dive Centre Bondi, organise equipment and head off for a instructor-led guided dive in the ocean (not a swimming pool!) to see some of Sydney’s fascinating marine life under the waves. With a 2:1 Student to instructor ratio you will have plenty of time to ask questions and enjoy your first experience scuba diving.

Equipment

All snorkelling and scuba equipment is included in the course cost. All you need to bring is your swimmers or bathing suit and a towel. Sunscreen and other forms of sun protection (hat, long sleeved tee, etc) are also recommended.

Prerequisites

  • The minimum age to participate is 12 years old (a parent's or guardian's consent is required for participants under 18 years old).
  • You must be cleared as medically fit to dive by completing a Medical Statement prior to your course starting. If any questions are flagged as "Yes" you need to gain medical clearance from a doctor. Please ensure you complete this Medical Statement before the start of your course.
