Diving Course

Extend Your Dives!

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Course develops knowledge around diving with enriched air nitrox, a gas with a higher percentage of oxygen than normal air. The course consists of a short theory session, a practical gas analysis and planning workshop and two optional scuba dives. The course includes your PADI eLearning and your PADI Enriched Air Diver Certification.

After successful completion of your workshop you will become a certified PADI Enriched Air Diver and be able to dive nitrox mixes up to 40%!

Course Details

Our weekday PADI Open Water Courses run from Tuesday to Thursday (3 consecutive days) and our weekend courses start on a Sunday and finish the following weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The course includes your PADI eLearning, three days practical instruction, certification fees, a DiveBondi T-shirt and your PADI Open Water Certification Card.

After successful completion of your open water training dives you will become a certified PADI Open Water Diver!*Starting September 27, 2025, our courses will begin on Saturdays and continue the following weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

Theory

9am (8am weekends) to 5pm. Course Introduction at Dive Centre Bondi, equipment fitting then off to the swimming pool to take your first breath underwater!

Practical Workshop

1 to 2 hours. 

(Optional) Dives

Upgrade from air to nitrox for free on your next double shore or boat dive after your course.

Equipment

No equipment is required for the course but if you have your own dive computer, please bring it along so we can show you how to use it to plan nitrox dives. As a Dive Centre Bondi Student you unlock a 10% discount off everything in store!

Prerequisites

  • The minimum age to participate is 12 years old (a parent's or guardian's consent is required for participants under 18 years old.)
  • Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, or hold an equivalent certification from another recognised certification agency.
