Have you had to miss a dive because of an equipment failure or malfunction? The PADI Equipment Specialist Course teaches you basic care and maintenance of your scuba equipment. This ensures performance, increases the longevity of your equipment and may help you to "save-a-dive" in the future.

Course Details

The PADI Equipment Specialist Course specialty consists of theory and practical sessions covering basic field repair which will help you to "save-a-dive" with quick, simple and easy repairs to your equipment at the dive site or on the boat. This is an invaluable course for all divers, especially dive professionals.

The course includes your PADI eLearningandyour PADI Equipment Specialist Certification.

After successful completion of your training dives you will become a certified PADI Equipment Specialist!

Theory

Complete your eLearning at home before your course.

Practical Workshop

5:30pm to 9:30pm. 3 to 4 hours at Dive Centre Bondi covering your personal equipment and field technician techniques used to troubleshoot problems.

Equipment

Please bring your scuba equipment with you so we can tailor the course to your specific needs. If you don't have your own, that is fine too and you will learn general maintenance procedures. As a Dive Centre Bondi Student you unlock a 10% discount off everything in store!

Prerequisites

  • The minimum age to participate is 12 years old (a parent's or guardian's consent is required for participants under 18 years old.)
  • Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, or hold an equivalent certification from another recognised certification agency.
